Cangkou Park in Qingdao is located in the northeastern part of Cangkou District, covering an area of 88,000 square meters. It was first built in 1957. In 1956, through consultations between the Qingdao Municipal People's Government and the Ministry of Textile Industry of the Central People's Government, 98 mu of idle land was demarcated from the factory area of the No. 7 National Cotton Mill, and 34 mu of land was requisitioned from Yingzi Village in Cangkou District for the construction of Cangkou Park.
