Lingshan Island

First of all, Lingshan Island is my personal favorite among the islands to be introduced next. Since ancient times, it has been renowned as a fairy mountain on the sea. With undulating peaks, dense vegetation, and a picturesque landscape, it also features unique marine erosion landforms due to the erosion of seawater. For this reason, it was highly recommended by CCTV.

It should be noted that if you come to visit here, you must catch the boat as early as possible. During the tourist season, there is a limit on the number of passengers for the ferries to the island. Sometimes, you have to queue for a long time. Usually, the ferry departs at 8:30 and arrives at the island at 9:00, and the afternoon ferry departs at 13:30 and arrives at 14:00. During the tourist season, the ferries depart according to the number of passengers, with many but irregular schedules. It is still advisable to arrive at the pier at least one hour earlier in the morning. If you need accommodation, try to contact the local fishermen's guesthouses in advance during the peak tourist season. They can pick you up at the pier. As for food, there is no need to worry at all. When I went to the island, it was during the fishing moratorium. In other places, I could only eat some farmed seafood, but here I could taste authentic wild seafood. When six of us went to the island, we had a seafood feast with a standard of 30 yuan per person. There were a total of ten dishes and one soup, including five plates of seafood and five plates of wild mountain vegetables. The taste was great and the portion was generous. If you want to eat sea cucumbers and abalones, you need to order them separately. The price is not too expensive, but it's hard to get wild ones, as their production mainly relies on farming.

If you want to stay here, most of the fishermen's restaurants provide both accommodation and meals. They can also help arrange car rentals and fishing activities for you, which saves a lot of trouble. Staying with the fishermen can also let you experience the local customs and features.

Zhucha Island

This is a peaceful island. Although it is very small (comparing it to Lingshan Island is like comparing an apple to a watermelon), and it is seldom mentioned, it still attracts a lot of people because of a unique scenery in Qingdao on this island.

So how to get to the island? In Huangdao, you can directly board the ship at Nantun Wharf. This place is quite close, right at the east end of the Golden Beach. Just ask around there and you can find it.

This island is extremely quiet, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Here, you will feel that any noisy sound is redundant.

As for the unique scenery mentioned before, it is the volcanic crater on the island. First, you will see an abandoned restaurant, which has instead become a landmark here. Walk around to the back of the restaurant, and you can see this beautiful, spectacular, stunning and unparalleled volcanic crater. Although it is an extinct volcano, there is no denying that there was magma activity here, thus making it unique in Qingdao. Touch the black stone in the middle, which should be the cooled magma from before.

Finally, a little tip. One day is enough to visit this island, so there is no need to stay overnight because the living conditions here... are like living in a hermitage, you know what I mean.

Daguan Island

Viewed from afar, Daguan Island is a large garden surrounded by countless plants, still maintaining its original natural state. Thousands of naturally - grown camellia japonica plants form this garden. On the cliff on the east side of the island, 47 camellia japonica plants with a tree age of several hundred years grow. It is said that they are the auspicious flowers of the Sea Goddess, used to bless fishermen with safe voyages and abundant catches of fish and shrimp, which is a very meaningful story.

To come here, you can take the Jikuai bus from Qingdao Lijin Road Station to Jimo Bus Station, then transfer to Aoshanwei Port and take a fishing boat to the island.

It is said that in spring and autumn, various migratory birds inhabit here. Looking from afar, it is simply a paradise for tourists who love natural scenery!

Tianheng Island

Tianheng Island is a famous island with a long history. Especially after Qingdao established the "Dagong Island Island Ecosystem Nature Reserve" on Dagong Island, more wilderness adventurers come to the island for exploration. Muguan Island

Muguan Island is also an island with a long history. It is said that when Emperor Qin Shi Huang climbed Langya Terrace three times, this island was used as a bathing place, thus giving rise to the name "Muguan".
